Danish Kaneria Seeks Yuvraj Singh’s Help For Minorities In Pakistan

The whole country has been affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus, which has led to more than 53,000 deaths around the world and more than 10 lakh people infected by the disease. The situation has been worsening day by day. While countries like India, America, Australia, Italy are doing their best to curb the disease, there are many countries that aren’t as fortunate as us.

Underdeveloped countries like Pakistan have been suffering a lot because of the pandemic. And as far as Pakistan is concerned minorities living there are suffering the most, as they are being denied for the treatment. The number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has shot up to above 2400.

Many Pakistani cricketers have now come out in support of the people of Pakistan including the likes of Ahmed Shehzad and former captain, Shahid Afridi. They have contributed to fasten the relief efforts being undertaken to curb the Coronavirus pandemic in their country.

Recently, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh took to their social media and shared a video of themselves, where they revealed their donation and also urged everyone to donate whatever they can in order to help the ‘lesser fortunate’ ones in this difficult time.

In his Tweet, Yuvraj Singh said that he is supporting Shahid Afridi and his foundation in this noble initiative. heir request had come moments after former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi urged everyone to donate for Pakistan and sought help from their Indian cricketer friends. He wrote:

“These are testing times, it’s time to look out for each other especially the ones who are lesser fortunate. Lets do our bit, I am supporting @SAfridiOfficial & @SAFoundationN in this noble initiative of covid19. Pls donate on http://donatekarona.com #StayHome @harbhajan_singh,”

Now former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria has made an appeal to the former Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh via Twitter. Danish took to his twitter and requested the former cricketers to come together in a video and inspire the minorities living in Pakistan during these crucial times. Danish wrote:
