PAK vs ENG: ‘Kuch Reh Gaya? Aur Kar Lein Aap’ – Babar Azam Gave An Epic Reply To A Journalist

The Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team returned to cricketing action on Thursday as they took on England in the ongoing 1st Test match in Rawalpindi. Both sides renewed their rivalry in the longest format of the game weeks after they faced each other in the T20 World Cup 2022, where England emerged victorious.

Also, the ongoing series marks England’s first visit to Pakistan for Test cricket since 2005. Ahead of the series, one of the major concerns among the fans was the nature of the pitches in Pakistan and the reason behind the same was Pakistan’s previous home Test series against Australia. For the unversed, the pitch in Rawalpindi had been given a demerit point after the game ended in a draw. And the pitches that were used in that series were criticized for being ‘dead’.

Meanwhile, ahead of the series, during a pre-match conference, a reporter asked Babar Azam about the concern over pitches. The reporter pointed out that Pakistan scored only 4 points in the series against Australia, which eventually led to Pakistan falling in the World Test championship.

Further, he asked Babar if the pitches in the England series will be result-oriented. Responding to this, the Pakistan skipper gave a hilarious response.

Well, after a reporter spoke for almost a minute pointing out the concern related to issues of the pitch conditions, Babar Azam said: “Kuch aur reh gaya? Aur kar lein aap. Ho gaya? Chaliye good” (which roughly translates to: Do you have anything left to say? You can say. No? Good),

After the laughter, Babar responded to the question in detail. He said: “The situation was different, the weather was different. The weather is now cold, fast bowler will get help. We hope the result comes. As far as the chairman is concerned, he always believes in us. 110 percent. Just as I believe in my players, the chairman does too,”
