Last night, the match was won by Mumbai Indians beating Kings XI Punjab at the Wankhade Stadium by 3 runs. The match turned out to be another interesting matches of the league. Last night, Yuvraj Singh got the chance to play for the team after a long wait. However, he got an opportunity to become a hero once again but the task was really tough for him as he was demoted from his batting order and a young player, who is a bowling all-rounder, Axar Patel was sent ahead of him and when he finally got the chance to play the knock, the situation was already out of hands.

When Yuvraj Singh entered the ground, the team needed 17 runs in the last over. Yuvraj Singh missed out on a couple a couple of opportunities. The team fell short of 3 runs at the end and lost the match.

As soon as the match got over, a few people started blaming Yuvraj Singh for the defeat of the team which angered his fans, who later flooded the twitter with tweets in support of him. People started shaming R.Ashwin for his poor captaincy in the league and for disrespecting a player like Yuvraj Singh by first not letting him play for the team for a few matches and then for his demotion from the batting order.
