A ‘Hilarious’ Petition To Stop Virat Kohli From Wishing Team India In ICC Tournaments: The Indian cricket team has started to choke on the ICC tournaments. They have failed to finish the tournament on a good note on a number of occasions. Be it men’s team or women’s team, they have disappointed their fans by losing in the important game of the tournament. After India’s men team failed to make it to the finals of the 50-over World Cup in England last year, India’s women team have failed to beat the Australian team in the T20 World Cup finals.
To overcome the jinx, a fan named Abhinay Thakur has started an expected petition on Change.org as he wanted to suspend the social media accounts of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and the former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag. So that the Delhi-duo cannot wish the Indian team before their important games in ICC events.

Abhinay Thakur has started the petition when India’s women team lost the finals of the T20 World Cup against Australia. On 9th February, the Under-19 Indian team has lost the World Cup against Bangladesh in South Africa. As of now, the petition has been signed by more than 1,000 peoples.
“Stop Virat Kohli and Sehwag from wishing Indian teams in ICC tournaments especially in Semis/Finals. These both jinx our victories..! Suspend their social media accounts if they don’t stop posting congratulations post (sic),” Thakur’s petition reads.
“This guy (Kohli) has so many negative vibes in Indian cricket,” another user’s comments on Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli, whose team has lost the 3-match ODI series and the 2-match Test series against New Zealand, has been in poor form since the start of the New Zealand tour. Both Virat Kohli and Virender Sehwag wished the Indian women team after they have qualified for the finals of the T20 World Cup.
In a tweet, Kohli said: “Congratulations to the Indian Women’s team on qualifying for the @T20WorldCup final. We are proud of you girls and wish you all the luck for the finals,” Kohli had tweeted.

“Would have loved seeing the semi-finals but Indra Devta ke aage kaun jeet sakta hai.
Mehnat ka parinaam achha milta hai. A reward for Winning all the matches in the group stage. Congratulations @BCCIWomen and wishing you glory this Sunday #T20WorldCup,” Sehwag said.

Since the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013, the Indian cricket team has failed to clinch the ICC trophy on a number of occasions. In 2015, MS Dhoni and co. have lost the semifinals against Australia and in 2017, Virat Kohli’s team have lost against New Zealand in the semifinals. In 2017, the Women’s team have reached finals of the 2017 World Cup, but they have failed to win against the England team.
