Players Who Missed Their 100 By One Run in T20 Cricket

From Babar Azam to Marcus Stoinis they are one of the greatest names in International Cricket. When they come out to bat the opposition fears them. And when it comes to T20 Cricket they are the champion and know how to accelerate and score runs and send the ball out of the stadium, hence these are the players who have missed a hundred-by-one run in T20 International.

Babar Azam

Pakistan already has a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match series being played at Karachi’s National Stadium after the victory.

Azam, a player with Karachi Kings in the just-finished Pakistan Super League (PSL), scored 402 runs from 12 games at an average of 40.20, including five half-centuries. He missed 1 run in Babar Azam in the century.

Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis scored 99 runs in 2017 in Big Bash League he is one of the top batters. Stoinis’ selection for the Victorian state team seemed a foregone conclusion given the kind of form he was in, and he was shortly added to Victoria’s Sheffield Shield side. His outstanding 170-point performance against Tasmania, which solidified his position in the Victorian top-order, did not in the least let the Victorian selection committee down.

He led Victoria in runs scored during the 2014–15 Sheffield Shield campaign. During the summer, he ran 785 times, scoring 49.06 points on each run. He also traveled to India in July 2015 with the Australian A team. Stoinis earned a spot in the national team for the ODIs and the sole T20I against England in August-September 2015 after scoring 77 and taking 2/18 in the first four-day match against India A.

Virat Kohli

In 20 overs of cricket, this was Virat Kohli’s highest score. Although he is now the finest batter in T20I cricket, he has yet to score any centuries in this format despite having 28 ODI (One Day International) centuries to his credit. The man’s inability to reach 100 in T20s appears to be something of a curse since his greatest score was 99 before he was run out while attempting to pant his way to his first 100.

of all the escape routes! Even so, it was a wonderful inning since it only took him 58 balls to reach 99 and because it enabled his team to achieve 183 runs, which did not seem after Chris Gayle’s early dismissal and Mayank Agarwal’s sluggish start. Even though RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) only won by 4 runs, in the end, his innings were still important.  Hence Virat Kohli now Scored a hundred he was 122 runs of 61 balls against Afghanistan at the Asia Cup 2022.

Rahmatullah Gurbaz

The opening batter for Afghanistan, Rahmatullah Gurbaz, was out in the first match of the three-match series against Zimbabwe, preventing him from reaching his first T20I century. No doubt (I regret). He said, “My time will come,” after the game on Wednesday.

A T20 hundred would be the dream of every player (March 17). I do not mind falling short of the century since I always want to score runs for my team.

It is my duty to assist the team in getting off to a great start. I was told to play my natural game and help us get going in the first six overs by my coaches and senior players, he continued. The pitch was good for batting and a tad slow for spinners. The wicket was excellent for batting, and before playing my normal game, Gurbaz said, “I tried to look at the pitch for the first two overs. I disagree with the T20 mentality of single-outing any one bowler.
