India’s remarkable win in the fourth Test match against the Joe Root side at The Oval brought praises from all corners, including a special message from the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Team India defeated England by 157 runs on the final day of the 4th Test match as Indian bowlers combined to pick 10 wickets.

Though England resumed the final day strongly placed at 77 runs without loss and even after losing a couple of wickets in the 1st session, they moved to 131/2. Things looked blurred at that time and all the three results were expected – win, lose or draw. But the Indian bowlers had other plans.

The likes of Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shardul Thakur joined hands and gave a terrific performance by picking the wickets of the England side at regular intervals. The bowlers didn’t let the opponents gain momentum throughout the game as they shattered their hopes to make a comeback into the game.

Following India’s terrific win at the Oval, social media has been buzzing with amazing tweets from fans, cricketers, and experts. However, one of the most special tweets came from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and posted a special tweet for the Indian cricket team. In his Tweet, Narendra Modi expressed how it was a great day for “Team India” both on the cricket pitch and on the vaccination front. He wrote:

“Great day (again) on the vaccination front and on the cricket pitch. As always, #TeamIndia wins! #SabkoVaccineMuftVaccine”
