Probable 15 for India’s tour of Australia 2016

If media reports are to be believed, India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who made a stunning comeback to Test cricket in the recently concluded Test series against South Africa, is set to make a comeback to India’s limited-overs side that will tour Australia next month. Ishant Sharma, who has been in good form in Test in the last two Test series, is also set to make a comeback to limited-overs cricket. Beside these two, Mohammed Shami, who was recovering after a knee surgery, is almost certain to make the cut, unless any fitness issue pops in.

Yuvraj Singh might push the selectors for a spot in the national team after his scintillating show in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Here’s The Cricket Lounge’s list of probable 15 for the tour of Australia:

Batsmen: Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni

In contention: Robin Uttappa, Shreyas Iyer, Ambati Rayudu

Spinners: Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja

In contention: Amit Mishra, Harbhajan

All-rounder: Stuart Binny, Gurkeerat Singh Mann

In contention: Yuvraj Singh

Pace bowlers: Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron

In contention: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma
