R Ashwin Shared An Important Message After Narendra Modi Announced ‘Janta Curfew’: As the whole world continues to fight with the dangerous Coronavirus together, on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation regarding the pandemic and its outbreak in India. In his 30-minutes television address, the Prime Minister asked everyone to stay indoors as much as possible to avoid getting infected by Coronavirus.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started by highlighting the gravity of the situation, by revealing how it has affected people more than the two world wars. He called out for a ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22 from 7 am till 9 pm.
PM Modi also talked about what one can do during the ‘Janta Curfew’. He has urged people to stay indoors for 14 hours and avoid public places. He said:
“I request all people in country to get out of house only when it is extremely necessary, try and do all work from home,” 

Soon after his speech, Indian ace cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his address to the country. In his tweet, PM Modi wrote how the country needed such a speech from PM Modi. He wrote:
“Believe it or not, a country like ours with a billion people needed to hear what our pm @narendramodi ji just said, not all of them are privileged enough to have access to information. #jantacurfew #CoronavirusOutbreakindia,”

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli also took to his Twitter and shared a special message for his fans. In his Tweet, he urged his fans to follow the instructions announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asked everyone to be alert, attentive and aware of the threat. He wrote:
“Be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by the Covid 19. We, as responsible citizens, need to adhere to the norms put in place for our safety as announced by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModiji. #IndiaFightsCorona”
“Also, special mention to all the medical professionals in the country and around the globe for all the efforts being put in to fight the #CoronaVirus. Let’s support them by taking care of ourself and everybody around us by maintaining good personal hygeine.#IndiaFightsCorona“
