There’s no denying the fact that Indians are crazy about cricket and cricketers. The idea of getting an autograph or a picture with our favorite cricketer is more like a childhood dream for many of us.

However, imagine how will you feel when your favorite cricketer either refuses to give you an autograph or doesn’t even care to look back at you? Well, something similar happened with the Bollywood actor R Madhavan.

Recently, R Madhavan took to his social media and shared a throwback video of himself, where the actor can be seen talking about the resolution he made when he was only 8-years-old after his dream of getting an autograph from his favorite cricketer took a sour turn.

The actor revealed how he was deeply hurt when his favorite cricketer didn’t even care to look at him while giving him an autograph. He revealed:

“The idea of getting an autograph, like the rest of my friends, was very exciting to me. I remember walking up to him (national cricketer), and he was sitting there having a conversation (I’m sure) he must have signed some 50 autographs by then,”

Though the actor didn’t label it as right or wrong, but he mentioned how this incident changed his perspective about autographs. He revealed how he made a resolution, if he ever signed an autograph, he will make sure to look into his fans’ eyes. He added:

“He signed it and gave it back without even looking at me. I’m not gonna justify whether he was right or wrong but it hurt me deeply, very deeply. And that day I remember saying: ‘If I ever sign an autograph in my life, I will make sure I look at his/her eyes when I sign an autograph,”
