Rajasthan Royals Trolled New Lucknow Franchise On Twitter: IPL mega-auction is just around the corner and the fans just can’t wait for the fun to begin. Ahead of the IPL mega auction, one of the two new franchises has made its debut on the micro-blogging site – the Lucknow-based franchise.

Although both the new teams – Lucknow and Ahmedabad are yet to officially reveal their names, but they are already making a lot of news off-lately. Recently, the former Indian and KKR cricketer Gautam Gambhir was roped in as their mentor of the Lucknow franchise. While, on other hand, on Tuesday, former bowler Ashish Nehra was named as the head coach of the Ahmedabad franchise.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Lucknow IPL team made its debut on the micro-blogging site Twitter and Instagram. Currently named as Official Lucknow IPL team, going by the handle @TeamLucknowIPL received a warm welcome by the IPL fans on social media. The Twitter handle shared a few updates related to Andy Flower and Gautam Gambhir and also shared a meme from Salman Kha posted a tweet that read:

“Welcome to the official Twitter profile of Lucknow IPL team.”

The Tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with amazing reactions from the fans to it. Among many, Rajasthan Royals also joined the bandwagon and welcomed the Lucknow-based franchise with a hilarious Tweet.

Rajasthan Royals, who are known for their friendly banters with other IPL franchises on Twitter, came up with a hilarious tweet, that read: “Kahi yeh wrong number toh nahi? (What if it’s a wrong number)”, doubting the authenticity of the Twitter account as it is yet to get a blue tick.

The Lucknow IPL team was quick to notice the Tweet and came up with an answer to Rajasthan Royals’ doubt. While replying to Rajasthan Royals’ tweet, the Lucknow-based franchise asked them to have patience. The tweet read: “Thoda dheeraj rakhiye.”
