What a match! That was an absolute thriller. It was the highest ever run-chase in the history of the Indian Premier League. Rahul Tewatia turned the fate of the game as he smashed five back to back sixes to bring the momentum back in RR’s innings. His unbelievable innings of 31-ball 53 helped Rajasthan Royals successfully chase down a record total of 224 defeating Kings XI Punjab by 4 wickets.
Initially, it looked like Kings XI Punjab will win the match, owning to the brilliant performance by the dynamic duo of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, who smashed the bowlers of Rajasthan Royals to all the corners of the ground. However, Mayank Agarwal ‘s maiden century went into vain as they failed to defend the target score of 224 runs with the ball.
Rahul Tewatia, this man was getting trolled badly for his performances when he walked out to bat, however, as the game proceeded further, he shut the mouths of his criticizers with his stunning shots. Besides him, Sanju Samson showcased the best of his capabilities as he formed a formidable partnership with Rahul Tewatia. Sanju Samson scored 85 off the 44 balls he played, smashing 4 fours and 7 sixes. On the other hand, Rahul Tewatia scored 53 off 31 balls, including his 7 sixes.
Steve Smith, the skipper of RR also played an incredible cameo and scored 50 off 27 runs. And the man who never fails to amaze us with his bowling, Jofra Archer proved that he is absolutely brilliant with the bat as well. He scored 13 runs off just 3 balls.
As soon as the game came to an end, social media was flooded with tweets from the fans, praising the performances of the cricketers from both sides.

1st innings KL. 2nd innings Tewatia. Amit Shah must be getting mildly worried that all these Rahuls are doing so well.— Ramesh Srivats (@rameshsrivats) September 27, 2020
