Rajdeep Sardesai Wrote A Very Special Tweet For ‘Captain’ Virat Kohli: The Indian skipper Virat Kohli and team India had an excellent first session on Day 5 of the ongoing World Test Championship final against New Zealand at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton. Team India made an impressive comeback against Kane Williamson-led side.

The Indian skipper has been receiving praises from all corners because of his captaincy in the ongoing thriller clash. The way Kohli rotated his pacers – Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami were very impressive as they helped bring team India back into the game.

From fans, cricketers to pundits, everyone took to their Twitter to praise the brilliant captaincy of Virat Kohli. Among many, popular Indian journalist Rajdeep Sardesai also took to his Twitter and showered praises on the ‘captain’ Virat Kohli.

In his tweet, Rajdeep explained why he thinks Virat Kohli is a special player and gave him a salute for his brilliance. He wrote:

“If more evidence needed that @imVkohli is a spl player, we saw it just now. 15 minutes left, light fading, NZ bowling superbly, captain can easily send in a night watchman. Comes in himself, leads from front, statement of intent, takes a blow on helmet but unflinching. Salute!?”

Talking about the game, riding on the heroics of Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma,  team India was able to make a stunning comeback into the game.

Shami picked two wickets while Ishant Sharma bagged the scalp of Henry Nicholls to restrict the New Zealanders on 135/5 in the 1st session. Team India is currently leading the game by 32 runs as they scored 64/2 in the last session of the game with Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli as the night watchmen. It will be interesting to see whether India is able to continue with its form and is able to win the trophy.
