Ramesh Srivats Comes Up With A Hilarious Name For Rahane And Pujara: Having won the first test match at the Centurion by 113 runs, the Indian cricket team was looking forward to sealing the ongoing 3-match Test series with a win at the Wanderers. While the Indian bowling line-up has managed to impress one and all, it was the middle order’s poor form and struggle that had become a huge concern for India.

India’s middle-order batter Cheteshwar Pujara and former vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, haven’t been in the best of forms in 2021. Both the senior batsmen have been receiving backlash for their recent form and dismal performances.  Coming into the game, there were many who raised questions on their place in the Indian playing XI. However, the Indian team management showed immense faith in the senior batsmen.

But to everyone’s dismissal, the poor show by both the senior batsmen continued in 2022 as well as the duo were dismissed cheaply in the ongoing second Test match against South Africa. The duo was dismissed cheaply in the ongoing Test.

While Pujara stayed in the middle for 33 deliveries, was dismissed on 3 runs by Duanne Oliver, on the other hand, Ajinkya Rahane incurred the first-ever golden duck of his Test career.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with the performances of Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara. Among many, Ramesh Srivats, who is a very popular businessman took to his Twitter and trolled Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane. Rames Srivats came up with a hilarious Tweet, where he called both the senior batsmen as ‘Purane’ (PUjara + Rahane). He wrote:

“I think Pujara & Rahane have become Purane.”
