Ramesh Srivats Trolled Virat Kohli For Over-Bowling Ravindra Jadeja

The decision of Virat Kohli and the Indian team management of dropping Ravichandran Ashwin from the playing squad in the ongoing 5-match Test series hasn’t gone down well with the fans and cricket pundits alike. Several cricketers and pundits have come out with their opinions on the matter.

After India’s poor bowling show in Leeds, everyone was expecting the inclusion of Ravi Ashwin in the playing XI. It was believed that Ravindra Jadeja will make way for Ravi Ashwin in the fourth Test which began at The Oval.

However, Virat Kohli decided to go with Ravindra Jadeja over Ashwin for the 4th successive time in the ongoing series. Not just this, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav replaced Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami in the playing XI.

Time and again in the ongoing series, Virat Kohli has explained his reasons for not picking Ravi Ashwin in the squad. During the 4th Test match, Kohli explained that since England has some left-handed players and Jadeja would be a better pick for them. However, the explanation didn’t go down well with many.

Later, during the 4th innings, Virat was once again criticized for over-bowling Ravindra Jadeja. At the end of Day 4th, Jadeja’s bowling spell was 13-4-28-0.

Among many, Ramesh Srivats, who is a very popular businessman took to his Twitter and took a hilarious dig at the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli. He took a dig at Virat for over-bowling Ravindra Jadeja during the match, by expressing that he is confused if Kohli is trying to justify his decision of picking Jadeja or trying to win the match. He wrote:

#IndvEng I’m wondering if Kohli is trying to win the match or justify Jadeja’s selection.”
