Rashid Khan Posted A Heartfelt Video Expressing Solidarity With India : The current situation in India is depressing as the second wave of the Nobel Coronavirus infection has created havoc in the country, leading to mass destruction of human lives. Over the last few days, India has been reporting over 3,00,000 COVID-19 cases. There has been a severe shortage of ventilators, beds, oxygen, and medication.

Saddened by the current situation, Rashid Khan, who is currently in India, plying his trade for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, took to his Twitter and posted a heartfelt tweet for Indians. In his tweet, he shared a video, where a handful of professionals from Afghanistan can be seen delivering the message that Afghanistan is standing with India in this tough time.

Sharing the video, Rashid wrote that everyone in Afghanistan is standing strong with India in this tough hour. He also urged everyone to stay home and follow precautions. He wrote:

“Everyone back home in Afghanistan is with you INDIA in this tough time. Please, everyone, stay safe stay home maintain social distance, and Wear Mask plz Folded hands #WeAreWithYouIndia,”

Meanwhile, Rashid Khan has been impressive with the ball and he has become the backbone of SRH’s bowling line-up. So far, he has picked nine wickets at an economy rate of 6.16 in the 6 games he has played.

Talking about Sunrisers Hyderabad, the franchise is currently sitting at the bottom of the table as they have won only 1 out of the 6 games they have played so far in the league. To make it worst, SRH’s two most celebrated pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan suffered an injury and are now not fit to participate further in the tournament.
