The captain was spot on in putting the visitors in for batting first. But he failed to make use of the momentum being carried after the double ton at Mohali and fell cheaply. Rohit didn’t trouble the scorers much and could manage only 7.

2. Shikhar Dhawan: 9/10

His flawless century made sure that India wins comfortably while chasing a modest total of 215. He remained unbeaten on 100 and played with great responsibility to see his team home.

88 to at Mohali and 65 in Vizag today. Shreyas is making use of the great opportunity that came his way in the absence of Kohli. He has enjoyed playing at number 3 and stitched a match winning partnership with Shikhar Dhawan. Would have regretted missing out on a 100 that was there for the taking though.
4. MS Dhoni: 7/10

His services with the bat weren’t required today. But the former skipper was spot on with his keeping and the lightening fast stumping to dismiss Tharanga left everyone stunned. He has once again proved why he’s the best wicket keeping alternative for India in limited overs cricket.
5. Dinesh Karthik: 6/10

He didn’t seem in the best of his rhythm today. He just bowled 6.5 overs and got a wicket for 35 runs. The Sri Lankan top order unsettled his line and length by attacking him.
