India has won the third ODI too and with this win, they have almost sealed the series. India cannot lose the series now, it can only end in a tie but seeing India’s dominance that seems impossible.

India has registered a 124 run win over South Africa at Cape Town and once again the Indian captain, Virat Kohli has led his team from front. Kohli remained unbeaten on 160 as India posted a total of 303 batting first.

In response, the hosts could only manage 179 runs. Once again it was the duo of Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav was spectacular. Both shared 8 wickets between them picking up 4 wickets each.

Yes, that is what you get when you get out for a duck. Rohit Sharma’s poor run of form continues and he is failing to contribute to the team in any way. We would like to see him among runs in the next game.

Shikhar Dhawan: 8/10

A perfect knock of 76 from Dhawan was his second consecutive fifty in this series. His 140 run partnership with Virat Kohli was the key to India’s win and getting that handsome total.

Virat Kohli: 10/10

Full marks for a world-class inning. Virat Kohli is redefining consistency and form. He remained unbeaten on 160 and played a captain’s knock. He smashed his 34th ODI ton and his second in South Africa.

Ajinkya Rahane: 3/10

Rahane could not trouble the scorers much. He got out when India needed him to stitch a partnership with Virat Kohli. Rahane got out for just 11 runs.

Hardik Pandya: 3/10

He was sent ahead of MS Dhoni and Kedhar Jadhav but he failed to contribute with the bat. He scored just 14 runs and with the ball too he remained wicketless.

MS Dhoni: 5/10

He could not do much with the bat. Dhoni scored just 10 runs but a clinical stumping saw Aiden Markram going back to the pavilion. He also had a catch to his name.

Kedhar Jadhav: 1/10

Jadhav scored just 1 run and failed to contribute to team’s total in any way.  His services with the ball were not required today.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: 5/10

Bhuvi played a vital little cameo of 16 runs which mattered so much on the larger spectrum. With the ball, he could not pick any wicket from his 7 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah: 7/10

Bumrah picked up 2 wickets for just 32 runs from his 7 overs. He was once again clinical with the ball.

Yuzvendra Chahal: 9/10

Chahal once again remained the pick of the Indian bowlers. Chahal picked up 4 wickets for 46. This young lad is taking long strides in international cricket.

Kuldeep Yadav: 9.5/10

Kuldeep too picked up 4 wickets for just 23 runs. He has been in a great form and is spinning it India’s way like a king.
