Ravi Shastri Calls Virat Kohli As The Only Player To Dominate In The Three Formats

In a recent interaction, former India head coach, Ravi Shastri, who shared a deep bond with Kohli stated that Kohli is the only man who has dominated the three formats of the game consistently over a decade. He called him as one of the greats of the game.
Ravi Shastri said: “I think one of the greats of the game. You know, he dominated the decade of cricket across formats of the game. When you look at one player who dominated all three formats of the game, for a period of 10 years, it had to be Virat Kohli.”

In June, Virat Kohli finally went on to win his first T20 World Cup. He has given his all and in three editions, he has singled handedly carried India’s batting. Kohli has been the greatest player in T20 World Cups and the man finally got the taste of his trophy in 2024. Kohli was not among the runs in the tournament in 2024, but stepped up on the day of the final like a big match player and took India home. After the tournament, he announced his retirement from T20I cricket.
