Ravi Shastri is busy handling things in his first series as Indian cricket team’s head coach, in Sri Lanka. India are in a very strong position at Galle in the first Test match of the 3-match series, after Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara smashed brilliant hundreds to put India in a very strong position at the end of day 1.

Ravi Shastri posted a couple of pictures on his Twitter handle with a caption: “Back to business with a great bunch.”

After Anil Kumble resigned in a very unpleasant manner, his side of fans have been targeting Kohli and Shastri for teaming up against India’s leading wicket taker in Test cricket. Shastri, after his appointment as India’s head coach maintained his dignity and said kind words about Kumble.

Coming back to his tweet, out of favour English cricketer Kevin Pietersen gave Shastri’s tweet a funny turn by asking: “Head coach again buddy?”

No mate. Assistant to Kohli.

And this was enough to make Tweeples going. Soon, there was a flood of responses to KP’s tweet. Check them out here:

cricket has become business ahh, he is back to earn more.
