The Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has been one of the most popular subjects for memes on social media. Every other day, we see memes featuring the Indian head coach going viral on social media. From taking a dig at his lifestyle to digging incidents during a series, fans always find a way to come up with viral memes about Ravi Shastri.

A day after team India thrashed England in the fourth and the last test match against England and won the 4-match Test series by 3-1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Ravi Shastri opened up about the viral memes making rounds on social media.

During the interview, Shastri said that he takes the jokes sportingly and is not at all bothered by them. He said:

“It’s banter all the way. They do it to have fun. It’s at my expense, but it’s okay. Have a drink on my name. When you post those kind of things, so many people have a laugh,”

He added:

“Enjoy, it doesn’t affect me,”

“In cricket, if you are playing well and succeeding, people will be happy with you, and when you are not winning, you have to face some kicks and slaps,” he added.
