Ravindra Jadeja Gave A Cryptic Reply To CSK’s Tweet On IPL 2022 Retention: With the mega-auction for the Indian Premier League, 2022 is just around the corner, the BCCI has given IPL franchises a window until November 30 to finalize the names of the players they’ve retained ahead of the mega-auction.

While everyone is busy discussing and guessing the names of the cricketers franchises have retained, a cryptic conversation between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Ravindra Jadeja has caught the attention of fans.




The rumors of CSK retaining the likes of MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ruturaj Gaikwad have been floating around for a while. With Sam Curran, Faf du Plessis, and Moeen Ali being in the fray, the franchise is reportedly divided over its 4th retention. The BCCI has allowed only a maximum of 4 retentions to be made

On Friday,  CSK posted a tweet asking fans for suggestions on players they would like the franchise to retain. CSK wrote: “The Retention Tension! Have you got some fav names in mind? Click & tell us here who four you,”




The Tweet soon went viral and was flooded with reactions from the fans to it. Fans came up with the names of their favorite cricketers while guessing the names of the retained players. Among many, CSK and India’s star all-rounders, Ravindra Jadeja also joined the bandwagon and came up with a hilarious reply to the Tweet.

In his reply, Jadeja, who seemingly knows the name of retained players, teased the fans by asking CSK: “Should I tell”

The admin of CSK was quick to notice and come up with a reply to it. CSK asked Jadeja to not reveal the names but they also dropped a major hint by writing the jersey number of Jadeja. CSK wrote: “Not Y8”.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has been one of the key players of the franchise. He joined CSK in 2012 and since then the franchise has never released him. As per the reports, Ravindra Jadeja is set to be retained by the Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2022.
