Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja provided a big update on his fitness after he went under the knife. Ravindra Jadeja suffered the blow on Day 3 of the Third Test match against Australia when a bouncer from Mitchell Starc struck him on his hand. The cricketer was taken for scans.

Later, the BCCI in a press release on Tuesday revealed that Jadeja has dislocated his thumb and he has been ruled out of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The press release also stated that the cricket will be consulting a hand specialist in Sydney before he returns back to India and later he will head to the NCA in Bengaluru. The statement read:

“The all-rounder will now consult a hand specialist in Sydney before he returns to India. He will then head to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for further management of his injury,”

On Tuesday, the all-rounder himself took to his social media and gave updates about his health. Jadeja recently went through a successful surgery on Tuesday. He took to his social media and shared a picture of himself after the procedure in which he was seen wearing arm support.

Sharing the picture, Jadeja vowed to come back stronger. He wrote:

“Out of action for a while. Surgery completed. But will soon return with a bang,”
