Ravindra Jadeja Revealed How MS Dhoni Made A Huge Impact On His Career

India’s star cricketer Ravindra Jadeja is hailed as one of the best all-rounders in the world. He has been in great form lately and has been giving amazing performances. Over the years, he has become an integral part of both the Indian and CSK squad. Recently, he heaped praises on former Indian skipper MS Dhoni for always supporting and guiding him.

Well, ahead of the second leg of the IPL 2021, which is scheduled to take place in the UAE from September 19th, CSK’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja recalled his initial days when he got support from MS Dhoni. He revealed how MS helped him come of age as a serious cricketer and backed him in all three formats of the game.

Jadeja also expressed that he misses MS Dhoni’s presence on the field as he was the one who guided him. He said:

“Yes, I definitely miss him because he was always guiding me in the right way. If I wasn’t doing the right thing on the field, he would come and talk to me, and tell me that I have to work more on a particular aspect. He keeps talking to me, and our bond goes back 12 years. I do miss him.”

Jadeja was also asked about the difference between the captaincy of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Talking about the same, he said:

“I think they are both different in their captaincy (styles). I think Dhoni bhai is very calm, but Virat is more of an aggressive and positive captain on the field. They both have their own styles to lead the team,”

Meanwhile, Jadeja and Dhoni will be seen in action together once again playing for Chennai Super Kings in the opening clash against Mumbai Indians on September 19 in Dubai.
