In the show, Jadeja revealed that there is no reason behind why he is called ‘Sir Ravindra Jadeja’. He revealed that the name was given to him by none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni, suddenly without any reason or logic.
Well, for your information, this happened after the match in the year 2013 when MS Dhoni started tweeting some Rajnikanth types of Joke in appreciation of Sir Jadeja on micro-blogging site Twitter. He posted a series of many tweets to appreciate the extra-ordinary talent of Ravindra Jadeja. Have a look at some of the tweets :

3. True and this is what exactly happened in the match :

When you give Sir Ravindra Jadeja one ball to get 2 runs he will win it with one ball to spare !!

— Mahendra Singh Dhoni (@msdhoni) April 13, 2013

4. Sir :

God realised RAJNI sir is getting old so he created sir ravindra jadeja

— Mahendra Singh Dhoni (@msdhoni) April 9, 2013

Ravindra Jadeja has no clue why people put ‘Sir’ ahead of his name and why MS Dhoni started the trend.
