Ravindra Jadeja Shared A Big Update About His Injury

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is currently out of action because of his injury, has begun brisk running at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), as per a recent video update. A recent video from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) shows Jadeja engaging in brisk running sessions, signaling his determination to make a swift comeback.

Ravindra Jadeja Shared A Big Update About His Injury

Jadeja had to sit out of the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam due to a hamstring injury sustained during the first Test in Hyderabad. Jadeja’s efforts at the NCA suggest he is keen on returning to the field and contributing to the Indian team’s campaign as soon as possible.

Ben Stokes showcased brilliance with a quick pick-up and throw that not only dismissed Ravindra Jadeja but also left the Indian all-rounder clutching his hamstring as he left the field.

However, Jadeja’s recent Instagram post featuring a training video hints at a potentially swift recovery. Sharing the video, Jadeja wrote:

“I’ma rider! #donotgiveup.”

Jadeja Is Likely To Miss 3rd Test As Well

Meanwhile, after being ruled out of the second Test in Visakhapatnam, Ravindra Jadeja is likely to miss the third Test in Rajkot due to a hamstring injury sustained after the first Test against England. KL Rahul is also unavailable for the second Test.

According to Cricbuzz, a hamstring injury typically takes four to five weeks to heal. However, sources within the Indian cricket team suggest that Jadeja might be given an extended rest. If he manages to recover in time for the fourth Test in Ranchi, it would be a noteworthy feat.
