Indian and Chennai Super Kings player Ravindra Jadeja, on Thursday, joined the CSK squad for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League after completing his quarantine period in Mumbai.

Jadeja will be back in action after a gap of three months after recovering from a thumb injury, he sustained during India’s tour of Australia. Jadeja will take the field when CSK will lock horns with Delhi Capitals in the second match of the IPL on April 10.

Recently, Ravindra Jadeja took to his social media and shared a few pictures with Thala – MS Dhoni and wrote a beautiful tweet dedicated to him. In his tweet, Jadeja expressed how every time he meets Dhoni he feels like he is meeting him for the first time with the same excitement. He wrote:

“Whenever i meet him it feels like i m meeting him for the first time!Still Same excitement when i met him in 2009.#bonding #respectforever”

Here, check out the Tweet:

Meanwhile, Jadeja had already started his preparations for the IPL before joining the CSK squad. The all-rounder practiced bowling and batting in March after he returned back to the field post his thumb surgery. He headed to NCA after that to get a fitness certificate.

CSK didn’t have the best season in IPL 2020 as they missed out on a playoffs spot for the first time in IPL history. However, Jadeja was one of the highlights in an otherwise dismal season for the CSK last year. He amassed 232 runs from 14 matches for CSK in addition to 6 wickets.
