RCB vs LSG: “Virat Kohli Shouldn’t Play In The T20 World Cup” Fans Expressed Their Anger

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli continues to have tough luck in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League as the stylish batter was dismissed for a first-ball duck against Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing game at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

After being asked to bat first, Virat walked out to bat after the fall of their opener Anuj Rawat, however, his stay at the crease was cut short by Dushmantha Chameera.

Chameera made sure that Virat’s stay in at the crease was only limited to one ball as he got rid of him in the first ball itself. Chameera hit the hard length and served it outside off. Virat could have left that ball but he flashed his blade at it and it went straight to the point where Deepak Hooda was standing and he took it with ease.

As Kohli realized that his stay at the crease was now over, he wore a disappointing smile on his face, reflecting as if bad luck continues to get better of him.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with the poor performance of Virat Kohli. The 33-year-old batting maestro is now getting trolled, left, right, and center on Twitter for his disappointing performance. There were many angry fans who felt that Virat shouldn’t be considered for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, considering his poor form.

Check out the reactions of Twitterati:

If form and form alone were the basis for selection in India’s 11 today, Virat would not have made it, and rightfully so. Such a lazy shot.

Kohli and Faf should retire next match… Should start gyms in Bengaluru… Faf should look after Muscle based equipment and Kohli should look after thread-mill-based equipment.

In IPL 2022:

– KL Rahul registered his first IPL duck in 6 years.

– Virat Kohli registered his first IPL duck in 5 years.

Expression from Virat Kohli says it all – nothing going right for him. pic.twitter.com/5DHhI6gYXY

Just don’t have any words to describe this Kohli run of (bad) form.

Just like I didn’t have any words for what he was doing between 2016-2018.

Same batter. With two huge extremes. Really doesn’t make any sense.

Let’s be honest, I have seen Virat Kohli getting out in test cricket and giving a very aggressive disappointing reaction even after scoring centuries. But,since last 2 years he hasn’t being the same “a smile on his face or a shocking reaction”. this ain’t the kohli we saw.💔 pic.twitter.com/i1HbyaY582

THAT’S THE CENTURY UP FOR VIRAT KOHLI!

Kohli has now gone 100 matches without scoring a century (Test, ODI, T20I, IPL).#IPL2022 #LSGvRCB #RCB

Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma Are Cursed By Opposite Fanclubs Too Much That Now Both Are Failing In Every Game. Life Was Good When Both Used to Make 200+ Runs Partnership In ODIs. Nostalgia Hits Me Hard Always 💔😢

Wake Up Champs 🥺🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/dXCrtbGk7L

Kohli’s cup of misery o overflowing. Barely 100 runs so far this season, golden duck today

— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) April 19, 2022

Talking about his stint in the upcoming 2022 edition of IPL, Virat has had a hot and cold season so far. He has amassed 119 runs from six matches at a very ordinary average of 23.80.
