RCB's Danish Sait Slams Murali Kartik For Calling Yash Dayal 'Trash' During RCB vs PBKS

Former India spinner and now a commentator, Murali Kartik was in the firing line of the fans on social media for using a proverb which included the word “trash” for RCB pacer Yash Dayal during the RCB vs PBKS match on Monday evening in Bangalore.

RCB’s Mr. Nags, Danish Sait, who is a well-known personality on social media called out Murali Kartik for his comments regarding Dayal. Soon, fans rallied together to slam Kartik for his remark.

Yash Dayal was with Gujarat Titans last season where he suffered the cruel fate of being hammered for 5 sixes in the last 5 balls of the match by KKR’s Rinku Singh. The left-arm pacer was released by Gujarat Titans and was picked up by RCB in the IPL 2024 auction.

Dayal was bowling superbly against Punjab, even at the Chinnaswamy stadium. He was given the new ball to share with Siraj and conceded only 10 runs in his first three overs, which piled up pressure on Punjab. During this phase, Murali Kartik was doing commentary and he said “Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure,”

This comment from Kartik has gone down horribly on social media and fans are slamming him:

Danish Sait tweeted: “How do you say someone’s trash is someone’s treasure? You just called Yash Dayal Trash on air! Like what even?”

Another Twitter user said, “How do you say someone’s trash is someone’s treasure? You just called Yash Dayal Trash on air! Like what even?”

Another user tagged broadcaster Star Sports and asked them to cancel Kartik’s contract for disrespecting Dayal, saying, “@StarSportsIndia, Murali Kartik is a part of the Star Sports commentary panel and he used the word “trash” for Yash Dayal, an Indian cricketer. Kindly take action against him and either remove him from the commentary panel or ask him to apologize.”
