RCB’s Hilarious Post On Kohli-Gambhir’s Bonding Goes Viral

Everyone is waiting for the moment when India’s new Head Coach, Gautam Gambhir, and India’s star batter Virat Kohli will be working together to win a match for India. Kohli was not present in the T20I series as he has announced his retirement from the shortest format after India’s T20 World Cup win.

India won the third T20I against Sri Lanka and inflicted a 3-0 whitewash against Sri Lanka. Captain Suryakumar Yadav was very happy with the effort with which his team came back after being 48-5 and posted a competitive total on the pitch. The new era under Head Coach Gautam Gambhir started with a bang.

Gambhir has always been a fighting character who gives his all to win and is famous for his out of the box thinking. In the third T20I, batters like Rinku Singh and Shubman Gill bowled in the final overs and took four wickets in total. The result was that the match went to the Super over and India emerged triumphant.

We all have been witness to Kohli and Gambhir’s heated on field duel. One such fight broke up when RCB faced KKR in IPL 2013. Another fight broke up between Gambhir and Kohli, when LSG faced RCB in IPL 2023. Gambhir was the mentor of LSG then. However, all this went away when KKR faced RCB in IPL 2024. The then KKR mentor, Gambhir, came to the field during the break and hugged Kohli.

Now, Kohli is back on the field to feature in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Gambhir joined the training session in Colombo after the T20 series. Both the stalwarts were seen interacting happily and in jovial mood. RCB wrote a post stating that Kohli may have been asking Gambhir to allow him to bowl in the ODIs with the new ball.
