How To Register For Tickets For The ODI World Cup 2023

The wait is finally over. With just 2 months left for the ODI World Cup 2023 to start, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have finally announced that the tickets for the ICC ODI Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be available for purchase from 25th August.

Earlier the BCCI had stated that it is working with International Cricket Council (ICC) to accelerate the process for tickets. But as the revised schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023 is out, including India vs Pakistan game, the tickets for the marquee tournament will be open for registration process on August 15th.

Yes, ahead of the actual sale of tickets, fans will have to register their interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August to make sure that they receive the news of the tickets first and reserve a spot for themselves at the ODI World Cup 2023.

The tickets for all the non-India games and non-India warm-up matches will go on sale on August 25th. ICC has decided to divide the sale of the tickets based on the venues for team India games. Tickets for India’s warm-up matches will begin on August 30. And the tickets for the main round will be available from August 31st.

Tickets for the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan can be booked from September 3.

Ticket details for India matches in ICC World Cup 2023

August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches

August 30: India’s warm-up matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum

August 31: India matches at Chennai (against Australia), Delhi (against Afghanistan) and Pune (against Bangladesh)

September 1: India matches at Dharamsala (against New Zealand), Lucknow (against England) and Mumbai (against Sri Lanka)

September 2: India matches at Bengaluru (against the Netherlands) and Kolkata (against South Africa)

September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad (against Pakistan)

September 15: Semi-finals (at Mumbai and Kolkata) and Final (at Ahmedabad)

Revised schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023

Recently, the BCCI also announced the revised schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023. The high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan has been rescheduled. The India vs Pakistan clash was scheduled to take place on Sunday, 15 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, however, the clash has now moved a day earlier and will now be held at the same venue on Saturday, 14th October.

Besides the India vs Pakistan game, 8 more games have also been rescheduled by the BCCI.  Check out the 9 games that are rescheduled by ICC for World Cup 2023:

  • ENG vs BAN on Oct 10
  • PAK vs SL on Oct 10
  • AUS vs SA on Oct 12
  • NZ vs BAN Oct 13
  • IND vs PAK on Oct 14
  • ENG vs AFG on Oct 15
  • AUS vs BAN on Nov 11
  • ENG vs PAK on Nov 11
  • IND vs NED on Nov 12
