Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting is widely regarded as one of the best batsmen in the history of the game. During his playing days, Ponting was one of the most difficult batsmen to bowl at because he had near perfect technique and could play almost every shot in the book.

Ponting is a very aggressive leader who likes playing mind games and outthinking the opposition in the middle. Recently, Ponting, who has been a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in IPL, said that Australia’s swashbuckling batsman Chris Lynn will be the most attractive player in the IPL auction in 2018.
Lynn has been a part of Kolkata Knight Riders but as per the new policies, a team will be allowed to retain a certain number of players and if KKR decide to let go Chris Lynn, he will enter the world’s richest cricket auction where the salary cap has been expanded by 20 per cent to a staggering $16 million a team on the back of a massive television rights deal the Board of Control for Cricket in India has signed with Star Sports.
“Either way I think he (Lynn) will become a million-dollar player,’’ Ricky Ponting was quoted as saying by News.com.au.
Chris Lynn has been in phenomenal form in BBL 2017 and we also agree with Ponting that he will be one of the most chased cricketers in the IPL auction 2017.
“To hit one out of the guts first ball was a nice feeling, it shook off a lot of nerves early. (But) because I started in fifth gear, I found it hard to go down the gears and that is something I will work on. I always want to dominate any bowler in any situation of the game. I felt like I was in control. It would’ve been nice to have faced a few more balls, but it wasn’t to be. I’m pretty confident I can build on that,” Chriss Lynn was quoted as saying by news.com.au.
