Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) player Rinku Singh recently spent some time with young fans during a practice session before the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).

Rinku Singh’s Beautiful Gesture For Young Fans Has Gone Viral

KKR shared a video on social media showing Rinku Singh signing autographs for kids and taking selfies with fans after his practice session. Sharing the video, KKR wrote:

“Sabka favorite (Everyone’s favorite), Rinku Singh!”

For those who don’t know, Rinku was Kolkata’s top scorer last season. He scored 474 runs in 14 matches, hitting four half-centuries at a strike rate of 149.53.

In a memorable moment, the 26-year-old Rinku Singh once smashed five consecutive sixes off Yash Dayal to secure a victory for his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, against the Gujarat Titans. This remarkable feat occurred when the Knight Riders needed 28 runs off the last five balls. His ability to finish games earned him a reputation as a reliable finisher for the franchise.

Rinku’s outstanding performance in the IPL also caught the attention of the national selectors, earning him a maiden call-up to the Indian T20I squad. He carried his IPL heroics into the international arena, scoring 356 runs in 11 innings at a remarkable strike rate of 176.24. So far, he has smashed two half-centuries in international matches.

The Kolkata Knight Riders are set to kick off their IPL 2024 journey against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata on March 23rd.
