Rishabh Pant, the young wicketkeeper-batsman, gave a thrilling performance and scored his maiden half-century for the Indian team in the first ODI against the West Indies in Chennai. Though he gained praises from all the corners but there were questions if he would be able to carry on with his form or not.
However, today in the second ODI against West Indies, Rishabh Pant has wonderfully shut down all his trollers and criticizers once and for all. He kept the Visakhapatnam crowd on the edge of their seats as he showed that his maiden fifty in Chennai didn’t happen by fluke.
Rishabh Pant came to bat when India only had 39 balls left with them. Unlike the first ODI in Chennai, Rishabh didn’t have much time to settle on the field but he still managed to give a fearless performance as he went on to smash 39 runs in 16 balls, hitting 3 fours and 4 sixes.
Pant along with his partner on-field Shreyas Iyer entertained the Visakhapatnam crowd and went on to deliver a thrilling performance. The duo put on 73 runs off a mere 24 balls to shatter the spirits of West Indies bowlers.
