Rishabh Pant Takes A Sensational Diving Catch To Dismiss David Miller: Gujarat Titans received a significant boost in their ongoing match against Delhi Capitals with the return of their star batsman, David Miller.
For the unversed, Miller played the first three games for Gujarat Titans this season, contributing to two victories with scores of 12, 21, and an unbeaten 44. However, he had to miss the subsequent three games due to a niggle. In his absence, the Titans faced defeat in the fourth and fifth games but managed a thrilling win in the sixth game against Rajasthan Royals.

David Miller’s return to the playing XI against DC was eagerly awaited by GT, hoping for a substantial contribution from their star player. However, their batting situation looked dire as Miller took to the crease in the fourth over after Mukesh Kumar sent Wriddhiman Saha back to the pavilion for just two runs, leaving GT struggling at 28 for 2. Earlier, GT captain Shubman Gill fell to Ishant Sharma’s bowling, managing only eight runs.
Miller’s innings against DC was cut short as he faced just six deliveries, managing only two runs before Rishabh Pant grabbed a sharp catch to dismiss him.
In the final delivery of the fifth over, Ishant Sharma delivered a short-of-good-length ball, angling in towards Miller. Miller attempted to guide the ball towards the leg side, however, he failed to connect properly which resulted in a thick edge.
Pant, who was positioned to the right, made a stunning dive to take the catch. Initially, the umpire ruled not out, but after Pant called for the DRS, the decision was overturned in DC’s favor.
