Rishabh Pant went on to score a 69-ball 71 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It was the highest from his bat in ODI format. But his biggest achievement was to make the crowd chant his name in the stadium.

Rishabh Pant also failed to deceive in the just concluded T20Is against the West Indies, where he scored only 51 runs. In the decider T20I against West Indies, Rishabh Pant scored a duck and as a result, he was brutally trolled by netizens.

After his brilliant knock, Isha Negi, who is a social media influencer took to Instagram with a screenshot of India’s final score –and appreciated her boyfriend.
