Riyan Parag Trolled Virat Kohli In A Very Cute Way

Riyan Parag, who was bought back by Rajasthan Royals for INR 3.8 crores at the recently-concluded IPL 2022 auctions, penned down a hilarious Tweet about Virat Kohli’s impending 71st century after he played a stunning knock in a game of the ongoing Ranji Trophy.

Well, Riyan Parag, who is a huge fan of former Indian captain Virat Kohli, played a blistering inning of 91 runs off 79 balls while playing for his team Rohtak in the second round of Ranji Trophy against Uttar Pradesh. His stunning knock was laced with 10 fours and 5 sixes, however, he fell short of 9 runs to reach the triple-figure.

After his knock, several fans on social media started trolling the cricketer for not being able to score a century, just like his ‘idol’. While one fan wrote ‘Like idol like fan’, the other wrote ‘You get it first I’m sure after that your idolo too will get that 100’.

Meanwhile, Parag was quick to notice all the memes making rounds on social media and he decided to counter them with an epic tweet. In his Tweet, he took a dig at all the trolls by writing how there are rumors that he is waiting for Kohli to score a century so that he can score a century as well. He wrote:

“Rumour has it that i’m waiting for my idolo to get a 100 so that i can get one too xddd”

Time and again, Riyan Parag has expressed his admiration for the former Indian skipper. Earlier, during the 1st T20I between India vs West Indies, Parag had penned down a special tweet praising Virat Kohli for the latter’s domination with the bat over the years. Parag had shared Kohli’s batting averages, which are above 50 across all three formats.

It has to be noted that Kohli’s last international hundred came against Bangladesh, in November 2019 but his batting averages are in excess of 50.

52,58,50 avg’s btw ??‍♂? #INDvWI
