The match paused during the first over of Mumbai Indians’ innings while Rohit Sharma was batting against Lizaad Williams. After the third delivery, a kite approached Rohit Sharma near the crease. He moved away as the kite landed in front of him.
Rohit handed over the kite to Rishabh Pant, who was standing behind the wickets. After taking the kite, Rishabh started playing with it, trying to fly it before it was taken away by the umpires.

Talking about the ongoing game, Mumbai Indians were at 45 for 2 in the fifth over when this report was written. They lost both their openers during the powerplay. Khaleel Ahmed dismissed Rohit Sharma for eight, and Mukesh Kumar removed Ishan Kishan for 20.
Now, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma need to stabilize the innings and build a strong partnership for Mumbai Indians.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals set a formidable target of 257/4 in their 20 overs after batting first. Opening batsman Jake Fraser-McGurk was exceptional, scoring his second 15-ball fifty of the season. He made 84 runs off 27 balls, hitting 11 fours and six sixes.
