Rohit Sharma Gave A Stern Warning To Selfish Players

The Indian men’s cricket team continued their winning streak under the leadership of Rohit Sharma as they won yet another T20I series against West Indies to strengthen their case ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup T20 and the T20 World Cup tournaments.

Rohit Sharma was appointed as India’s full-time captain after Virat Kohli stepped down from the captaincy position following India’s defeat last year. Ever since Rohit Sharma took over the captaincy duties, India has been on a roll under his leadership. India has played 24 games under Rohit since he became India’s full-time captain and now has won 21 of them. The t20I series win over Windies was his eighth consecutive series triumph.

Rohit Sharma and co. will be now seen locking their horns in the upcoming Asia Cup T20, where the Indian side will kickstart their campaign against Pakistan on August 28th.

After the successful completion of the West Indies tour, Rohit addressed the team in the dressing room and expressed his happiness with the individual performances of the players. However, he also gave stern advice to the players. He said:

“It takes a lot to change your game. It takes a lot to get into a different mindset. It takes a lot to understand what the team requires at every point in time. For me, individual brilliance is good, but those little little efforts from all of us is what will give us more results, consistently, and that is what we are going to focus on.”
