Rohit Sharma is one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket. In the last 5 years or so, he has been in outstanding form in limited overs cricket. His promotion to the top of the order was the biggest turning point in his career and he hasn’t looked back since then. Rohit Sharma is the only batsman in the history of One Day International (ODI) cricket to hit 3 individual double hundreds.
However, in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2018), Rohit has not been at his best and as result, Mumbai Indians have suffered in the tournament. Rohit has moved up and down in the batting order to accommodate other players and this can also be one of the reasons behind his average show so far in IPL 2018.
In the must-win game against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, Rohit came out to at number 3 and registered a first ball duck. This did not go down too well with cricket fans on Twitter and they took in time and taking his case.
