Rohit Sharma Hailed Axar Patel’s Batting Heroics With A Special Tweet: The Indian cricket team defeated West Indies by two wickets in the 2nd ODI match to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ongoing 3-match ODI series. After losing the first ODI match, the 2nd match was a must-win game for the Windies and they did everything possible to win the game, however, the Indian side outperformed them in the last few overs.

Indian all-rounder turned out the hero of the game last night as he played a huge role in India’s win last night. He played a surprise match-winning knock with the bat in the 2nd innings. Chasing the target of 312 runs in 49.4 overs, the Indian side put up a stellar show.

Axar Patel turned out to be a surprise package as he walked in with all guns blazing and took the game by storm. He played an unbeaten knock of 64 runs, which was laced with 5 sixes and 3 fours, including a match-winning six.

For the unversed, Rohit isn’t part of the three-match ODI series against West Indies. However, he will join the Indian side ahead of the five-match T20I series. Axar Patel is also a part of the Indian squad for the T20I series.
