Rohit Sharma Handled Rishabh Pant In His ‘Hitman’ Style

The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant never fails to entertain his fans with his constant chattering from behind the stumps. Over the years, he has impressed one and all with his skill of coming up with impromptu one-liners and numerous ways to keep his teammates motivated by not letting the pressure overwhelm the players.

In the ongoing first Test match against England, Rishabh Pant has been trying his best to keep the Indian players motivated while they struggle against top-quality England batsmen on a flat wicket at Chepauk.

On Friday, all thanks to the stump-mic, fans got to hear some hilarious one-liners by the young keeper. From calling Pujara ‘Pujinder’, mocking Washington Sundar to coming up with hilarious one-liners, Pant kept the fans entertained throughout the day. He was also heard motivating the Indian players to not drop their shoulders even after Joe Root and Dom Sibley were involved in a 200-run stand. On Day 2, the fans witnessed something similar as he along with Rohit Sharma combined to keep the spirits of Indian players.

It happened when Rohit was handed the responsibility of bowling a few overs by captain Virat Kohli just before the Tea break to give his regular bowlers a breather. In the final delivery of the session, Rohit Sharma cracked up everyone after he mimicked Harbhajan Singh’s bowling action. Rohit hopped and skipped before imitating Harbhajan’s action.

During Rohit’s spell, Rishabh was shouting instructions to Rohit Sharma from behind the wickets. Giving instruction to Rohit, Pant had said: “Halka sa kheech do issi tappe pe, you never know”

Responding to this, Rohit said: “Theek hai sir”
