Only a few days after Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of India captain Rohit Sharma, attacked Mumbai Indians head coach Mark Boucher and the franchise decision-makers, the former MI captain has made a post on Instagram that has now gone viral.

Earlier this week, Ritika Sajdeh created a huge stir on social media with her comment under a video of MI coach Mark Boucher explaining the reasons behind the franchise replacing Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya as their captain ahead of the IPL 2024 season. That consequently led to the podcaster deleting the video.

Now, on Saturday, with Rohit Sharma and Team India on a break between the second and third Tests against England, the opener posted a stylish picture of himself with his wife, Ritika.

Rohit Sharma makes a bold Instagram post for wife Ritika Sajdeh:

MI coach Mark Boucher, speaking on the Smash Sports podcast, had explained that Rohit being replaced with Hardik as the skipper was โ€œpurely a cricketing decision,โ€ alluding that the team is now in a โ€œtransition phaseโ€. Boucher also pointed out Rohit’s struggles with the bat in the last two IPL seasons and hoped the opener would be back to his best with the bat with the pressure of captaincy off his shoulders.

Ritika Sajdeh commented, โ€œSo many things wrong with this.โ€

This sparked a debate on social media. One section of fans supported Ritika while another thought it wasn’t a good choice to make such a comment and create more furore among fans than it already was.

Now, Rohit Sharma himself has lent his support to his wife with this caption, perhaps indicating that both are unhappy with the Mumbai Indians franchise and that Rohit sides with his wife’s earlier comment.
