The fact that Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh are close friends is a fact well established and well known to everyone. But on the popular TV Show, ‘Breakfast With Champions’ Rohit Sharma revealed the very beginning of his bond with Yuvraj. Rohit recalled how the first impression he got of Yuvraj wasn’t a very pleasing one.
Hitman has been sensational this year with the bat and he has redefined stroke play in limited overs cricket. Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh have always been close friends and many would not know that Rohit’s wife Ritika considers Yuvi to be his Rakhi brother.
THE ACTUAL STORY
Rohit recalled the time when he was a new entrant on the team. Rohit recalled how he used to fear senior players during his initial days. Rohit Sharma remembered that he had reached the lobby one hour prior when he was to board the team bus for the first time and when he saw Yuvraj, he seemed different and Rohit Sharma was a big fan of Yuvraj’s batting.
Rohit also recalled that once when he was sitting on a particular seat on the team bus, Yuvraj walked up to him and in an indifferent tone said, “Did I know whose seat it was? Did I know who sits there?”
Then in another incident when Rohit congratulated Yuvraj for the Man of the Tournament Award he only received a grim thank you and this coldness was not at all appreciated.

We all remember the time when Stuart Broad was smashed for six sixes in an over by Yuvraj. After that splendid knock Yuvraj and Rohit went out to eat together and that is when the foundation of an invincible friendship was laid down and the rest is history. Now both of them are giving friendship goals to the world and we hope that their bond stays like this forever and ever.
