The first few days I didn’t know what to do: Rohit Sharma

Meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma talked in an interview for the first time since the World Cup 2023 final loss.
India succumbed to a 6-wicket defeat to Australia in front of the home fans in Ahmedabad in the World Cup 2023 final, missing a big opportunity to end their ICC title drought.
Over three weeks later, after his family vacation in London, Rohit talked about how difficult it was to deal with the sadness and emotions of losing the World Cup final.
Rohit Sharma, who led the team insipirationally to 10 consecutive wins, said he had no idea how to recover from the final loss.
“I had no idea how to come back from this. The first few days I didn’t know what to do. My family, and my friends kept me going. kept things pretty light around me, which was quite helpful. It wasn’t easy to digest, but life moves on. Honestly, it was tough,” said the Indian captain in a video uploaded by the channel “team45ro”.
India won 10 games in a row leading into the final but faltered at the last step with Pat Cummins‘ Australian side putting on a clinical performance in all three departments.
