During the third One Day International (ODI) against Australia, Indian captain Rohit Sharma carved his name in cricketing history by creating a spectacular new record at the Saurashtra Cricket Ground in Rajkot. With his amazing performance, the ‘Hitman’ not only guided his side to victory but also rewrote the record books.

With his first six of the innings, Rohit Sharma eclipsed Martin Guptill of New Zealand to become the player with the most international sixes in a single country. This record-breaking performance solidifies Rohit’s position as one of the game’s most dominating and prolific six-hitters.

This feat not only demonstrates Rohit Sharma’s exceptional talent, but also highlights his important contribution to the Indian cricket squad.

Rohit Sharma’s outstanding performance did not end there. With his fifth six of the game, he became the quickest player in international cricket history to hit 550 sixes. He broke the previous record of 548 sixes set by Chris Gayle of the West Indies in only 471 innings. Rohit’s ability to routinely clear the boundary ropes has elevated him to the status of a cricketing powerhouse to be reckoned with.
