Rohit Sharma Opened Up About The Suspension Of IPL 2021

Rohit Sharma Finally Opened Up About The Suspension Of IPL 2021: On Tuesday, the governing body of the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) decided to suspend the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League and send back all the players back to their homes, after multiple players tested positive for COVID-19.

Ever since the BCCI has postponed the mega-tournament mid-way several cricketers and former players have come out with their opinions on the matter.




And the latest one to give his opinion on the suspension of the IPL 2021 mid-way by the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) is none other than the skipper of Mumbai Indians Rohit Sharma.

Though, recently in a video message by the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, expressed his disappointment that the tournament was abruptly halted, however, he also hailed the decision of the BCCI and called it an apt decision. He said:




“It’s unfortunate that the tournament has been postponed. But in the light of everything that is happening around the country, I think it’s a very good decision,”

Sharing the video, the franchise wrote:

“Paltan, thank you for your unrelenting support throughout the tournament! Till we meet again, we hope you keep staying safe and strong,”

Meanwhile, known for taking care of their players, Mumbai Indians, owned by the Ambanis is sending all its overseas players by their own charter flights, while the BCCI is making arrangements for sending the overseas players back home safely. The Ambanis have even offered players from other franchises to join them as well.
