India wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik faced a really tricky and difficult question: Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, who does Karthik enjoy watching more?

Karthik is working with Cricbuzz during the ongoing World Cup 2023. Cricbuzz hosted Karthik for a short video interview where he would answer some questions from the fans.

One fan asked Karthik the most difficult question in the world. A fan asked: “Purely from a fan’s entertainment perspective whom would you pick watching bat between Virat Kohli and Rohit if you have to choose one”

Dinesh Karthik had his eyes wide reading the question, knowing that it is a really difficult one to answer. However, the wicketkeeper tackled this question with smarts and wits.

Dinesh Karthik gave a cheeky reply: he said he likes watching Rohit Sharma bat first and Virat Kohli in chases.

“Sir both are my friends (Rohit and Virat). Marwaaoge kya (smiles). Still I will genuinely answer. While batting first, I love watching Rohit. He has three double centuries as well. Batting second, master chase, Virat Kohli,” Dinesh Karthik answered.

Karthik has played for a long time with both Kohli and Rohit and is good friends with both the Indian batters.

Pakistan collapsed due to high quality Indian bowling: Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik hailed India’s phenomenal bowling performance against Pakistan in India’s 7-wicket win at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Barring the couple of expensive overs from Shardul Thakur, India rarely gave away an inch to the opposing batters. Even as Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam formed a decent partnership, the Indian bowlers were on the money with their lines and lengths, eventually forcing a collapse from 155/2 to 191 all out.

DK was effusive in praise for India’s bowling show in Ahmedabad.

“Yes Pakistan collapsed, but it was due to high quality Indian bowling. If you look at literally each wicket, there was some great bowling and pressure applied on the field by the Indians and that’s why Pakistan collapsed. Yes there’s a little lack of skill, but it was great bowling by Indian team,” Karthik added.

India’s next game is against Bangladesh in Pune on Thursday.
