Amidst all the debate regarding the pitch of Motera Stadium, Indian opener Rohit Sharma shared a cheeky post about the Ahmedabad pitch ahead of the upcoming fourth and final Test match on Sunday.

Rohit took to his social media and shared a picture of himself while training for the last and final match of the ongoing 4-match test series. Rohit’s post can be considered as an indirect dig at various cricketers and experts of the game, who started an unwanted debate about the pitch at the Motera Stadium. Sharing the picture, Rohit came up with a hilarious caption that read:

“Wondering what the pitch would be like for 4th test,”

The post soon went viral and was flooded with hilarious comments from the fans on it, who appreciated the sense of humor of the Indian opener. However, the best comment came from Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh, who trolled him hilariously.

In her comment, Ritika took a hilarious dig at Rohit for lazing around on the field. She wrote:  “And you make fun of me for lazing around like this,”

Ritika’s comment stole all the attention from Rohit’s post. Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav also reacted to Ritika’s sly remark on the photo and video sharing platform.

Here, check out the comments:

Earlier, during a post-match press conference, Rohit slammed all the critics, who questioned the Motera pitch. He had said:

“The pitch didn’t do anything, honestly speaking. Most batters got out to straighter deliveries, and as a batting unit we also made mistakes. The pitch had nothing as such, no such demons. It was a nice pitch to bat on. Once in you can score runs, as we saw. You just need to apply yourself and keep concentrating on a pitch like that,”
