Rohit Sharma Shared His Excitement After Mumbai Indians’ First Training Session

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai Indians was extremely happy to be back on the ground. After a long gap of 5-6 months, there was finally some cricket action back for the Indian opener.
On Saturday, the Mumbai Indians squad started their training session, after they completed their seven-day quarantine period at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The video of the training session was shared by Mumbai Indians via their official Twitter handle, where Mumbai Indians players including the skipper Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Surya Kumar Yadav among others can be seen going through some warm-up drills.
Besides them, Mumbai Indians head-coach Mahela Jayawardena and Batting Coach Robin Singh could also be seen in the video.

In the video, Rohit Sharma, who can be seen doing batting practice, said:
“Feels good firstly to just be out here. Even though it’s only for an hour but will take it. It’s pretty hot out here so making sure that you get used to the conditions the pitches here and all of that. So nice and easy the first few days,”

Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder who has been a key player for the defending champions was seen stretching out on the field. Expressing his excitement to get out of the team hotel and said:
“Seven days of isolation and now finally going out. Looking forward to the session.”

Another player Suryakumar Yadav, who has batted at the important No 3 position for the Mumbai Indians, who has batted at the important No 3 position for the Mumbai Indians said:
“Coming here after a long time and I am really excited. The preparations have been really good. Can’t wait to get on the field. It’s a great feeling to come back on the field and do what we love the most. We are really excited and it went really well. I know we are away from home and I hope we repeat the same thing what we did last year,”
