Recently, team India wapped the T20i series against Windies and emerged out as winners by defeating Windies by 3-0. However, the stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma, still feels the Indian squad missed the presence of MS Dhoni on and off the field.

MS Dhoni, who was dropped off from the playing squad for the T20i series against West Indies and Australia. He was replaced by the young keeper-batsmen Rishabh Pant. Although Pant has good prospects for the Indian middle order, but still lack the cutting edge behind the stumps which Dhoni possesses.

Although, MS Dhoni is not being able to give upto the mark performances with his bat but his presence has always worked in favor of the Indian team. MS Dhoni’s intelligence and experience during crucial moments in tight matches is also a big factor behind India’s success in the shorter formats of the game.

After clean sweeping the opponents in the final encounter of T20I series, Rohit Sharma talked about the power of MS Dhoni in the team and how not having him in any team is always a big miss.

Rohit Sharma also talked about how having MS Dhoni in the team is a boost for the youngsters and many players. He said :

“MS (Dhoni) was not part of the Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka also. MS not being in any team is a big miss. His presence in the team itself is a huge boost for a lot of the players, not just me, especially the younger players,”

Well, we completely agree with him. Talking about the upcoming matches, the Indian cricket team will now lock their horns with Australia from 21st November.
